Oathbreaker

Arriving at a council of war to find their kin slain and their underground hold of Karak Varn overrun by hordes of ratmen, Dwarf Thane Uthor and his companions make a rash vow to retake it or die in the attempt.

In this stirring tale of sacrifice, heroism and brotherhood, a small army of dwarfs return to the desolated hold of Karak Varn in the vain hope of trying to reclaim it. Uthor Algrimson leads this desperate band of warriors who must put aside their differences and overcome ratmen, goblins, trolls and worse besides if they are to exact their vengeance and restore glory to Karak Varn.

Only when the dwarfs reach the very heart of the mountain hold do they realise the folly of their undertaking and know it is doomed to failure. With his army in tatters and enemies closing in around them, Uthor must try to gain whatever victory he can, even if that means destroying the entire hold and all that lie within it…

One of Black Libraries best
A good plot, the humour of Dwarves, riveting action and great environmental description; brings the Dwarves to life. A good read cover to cover. The book doesn’t take itself too seriously and is an enjoyable yarn. The best BL/GW book I’ve read. 5 Stars  Amazon.co.uk

Romp, Romp, Romp, Romp
In times of darkness its always a pleasure to see the lighter side to the Warhammer world. In this case this dwarfish romp throughout will keep the reader not only amused but allows the writers a chance to let up and unleash their humour upon the public. Well written, witty and above all a drunken romp throughout which will please not only the Dwarven Holds but fans of the warhammer world as well. A real gem to be horded for that rainy day when the world is going to hell. Cracking work Nick and hopefully we'll see an Orc book at some point, giving those stunties what they need, a damn good shave. 4 Stars  Amazon.co.uk
