After a few teething troubles, namely the fact that the Free Fiction section had no fiction in it, I can report that all is now well. Apologies to all for all the formatting spiel at the top of the entries. I think that’s because I cut and paste the entries from Word and some of the formatting came with it. If I delete it I lose all the text, so it’s staying for now.

Soon as my web design skills extend as far as surmounting this problem, I’ll tweak it to perfection. Until then, at least it’s readable.

Just added a brand new section to the website unsurprisingly called Free Fiction!

It’s a little rough and ready, but herein you’ll find a steadily increasing stack on random writing work I’ve done just for me that’s unpublished. I plan to add to this over time. It’s all just for fun, really, the things that I have a hankering to write without commission, without deadlines.

A quick warning, the works in Free Fiction! are generally not edited or proofed and maybe actually never be finished (though I do plan on getting to the end of them). I invite you to see this as a kind of forum for random stories percolating around in my head.

This, incidentally, is not a place for 40K or Warhammer stories (the Necromunda bit aside, as that’s a line that has reached its end) and the content isn’t necessarily friendly to younger readers, so please be warned – I have no desire to cause any one any offence. Not that the stories are particularly taboo, they just might deal in adult themes.

Okay, boring bit out of the way, I invite you to take a look. I’ve put Wyrd Dreams on here (nothing new yet, I’m afraid) so it’s easier for folks to find, plus a story I wrote for a PoD anthology that didn’t quite make the cut but thought I’d share and something in the crime genre that I just decided to noodle together.
